Random Ramblings

  • Mood: Dead
  • Listening to: Metallica - Fuel
  • Eating: Nothing
  • Wearing: Pyjamas!!

Well. Where do i start? God i SUCK at this. I used to love updating my website and i guess I still do, but i dunno, i just can't seem to be bothered anymore. Too busy reading or watching tv or sitting on my ass twiddling my bloody thumbs. Ok what's been happening in my life?

Not much at all. Still pretty much hating uni, still with stephen, still a lazy pig, still doing nothing with my life. Working a bit more than I usually do, but that's ok, I need the money. I was supposed to be working Sunday morning 10 till 1.30, and Loz messaged me saturday night asking...well telling me, half jokingly, that i wanted to work her sunday shift as well...1.30 to 6. And i thought to myself, so i'll be working 10 till 6. That's only 6 hours, shouldn't be that bad, i've worked 6 hours before, so i replied and said i'd do her shift. Lol so i get up sunday morning and while i'm in the shower i start thinking about the hours, and i'm like omg u DICK ELYSE!! It's bloody 8 hours! Lol no idea how i thought it was 6, but ah well. I started freaking out thinking omg 8 hours is gonna kill me, 6 hours was already enough....but what the hell i was already committed.

In the end, it was totally fine. Pretty fun in fact. At 1.30 Gen and Kendall started working with me, and they're awesome. And Stephen walked up after his rehearsal and i went on a 15 minute break to see him and we didn't argue once! So it was quite a good day, especially because i was getting paid good money as well.

Seen a few movies recently....i'll start with Superman Returns. Ok I was quite opinionated about this before it even came out, because in the trailers the special effects looked VERY fake, and the trailers didn't show that much about the movie, and it didn't look that great. And probably what I most talked about what Brandon Routh, who from pictures and the trailers that i'd seen, looked like an idiot. I thought what the hell is this newbie doing, he is bloody ugly and his eyebrows are HUGE i bet he's gonna suck. And i think it's pretty lucky i felt this way about him and the movie, because this way i couldn't be disappointed. And i certainly wasn't!! Obviously some things were going to look fake, but mostly everything looked fantastic, especially this one bit where he flies and catches this man and drops him on the ground and keeps flying...that was great. And Brandon was actually REALLY good. I dunno what it was, but he was very impressive. He didn't overplay it, and i think maybe that was the key. I wouldn't go so far as to say he's the best looking guy i've seen, definitely not, and i still stand by my first thought that his eyebrows are huge, but i do retract my ugly comment. He wasn't too bad on the eyes at all. So yeah, overall very impressed with this movie. Oh! And Kevin Spacey, who played Lex Luthor was excellent. A superb casting choice me says.

Umm, what else? Pirates 2. Not much to say about this. If you look at it on its own, totally forgetting it's a sequel to the excellent pirates 1, it is quite good. But i mean the first one was GREAT....everyone loved it....so this one in comparison is so-so. And keira knightley, towards the end, just went weird. Weird orange skin colour and really pale lips....she just got weirder.

The only other one i can remember is the lakehouse. This wasa really good movie. Pretty funny, good storyline, it was just good. Lol so see it.

Hmm...not much else tO report. Making my way through the whole Dark Tower series for the second time. Almost there as well...on the second last book. Picking up a shitload more than in my first readings....god this series is...excellent. I mean, I've read better books that i've enjoyed more, and i have other favourites that are higher on the favourites list, but the sheer scope of this series...it's just...i don't know how to describe it. It's definitely not for everyone...but it's amazing. Need to buy the new Dean Koontz book as well. The Husband. Might buy it tomorrow actually.

Watched Greys Anatomy tonight....the Code Black episode. Uh, can i say, AWESOME?! Lol it was soooo good. I normally only "like" the show, but this episode was a cut above the rest.

Umm, bought Tru Calling through ebay last week. In stores like JB, you have to buy season 1 part 1, season 1 part 2 and then season 2, and all up it is about $155. On ebay i got it delivered to my house in like 2 days for about 85 bucks. That saved me 70 bucks!! And it's awesome....i was VERY pleased. Now I only need to buy Lois and Clark season 3, Moonlighting season 3, Supernatural season 1, Smallville season 5, Alias season 5, lol and i'm thinking i wanna get a couple of seasons of Xena as well. And 2 seasons of the L Word. Lol damn that's a lot of money.

At stevo's request i've been making my way through seinfeld, and although it was a chore at first, i've grown to like it. I still don't laugh that much, escpecially not out loud, but i'm up to season 4 and the laughs are becoming more frequent. To stephen's dismay though, i still hate kramer. He's just an unfunny dick. But yeah, i enjoy watching them, especially coz the eps are only 20 minutes.

Ok, it's bloody 12.45am and i need sleep. I'm leaving it here. Let's see how loong it takes me to do another one!

Blankety Blank

Yo

I'm pretty bored at the moment. Just watched Lost. Was pretty good, slightly weird, but next week's episode looks awesome!! Sun gets taken, and she has a black hood put over her head just like in V for Vendetta, one of the best movies i've ever seen. I also taped Medium, which i'll either watch a bit later, or sometime tomorrow.

Had a pretty slack week this week. And i've been waiting for this one assignmen to get back, a story i wrote, and the tutor has seriously had it for like a year. And last tuesday he goes, I'm hoping to have it back for you guys early next week. So i checked this tuesday, and it wasn't there! Now it's thursday, and it's still not back. I'm getting quite annoyed.

Saw Stephen today. Was much needed. I'm not coping very well with not seeing him as much as i used to. It's not conjucive to my happiness. Not one bit. He is hopefully staying over tomorrow night, but he'll have to leave early coz i'm working at 8.30. Sorry stevie.

Heard a great cover song on the O.C. the other night. James Blunt's cover of a crowded house song called Whenever I Fall, or Fall At Your Feet...one of those. But yeah, it's really nice. So i downloaded it.

Not much else to add. Maybe going to greensborough tomorrow. We'll see. And if it's alright weather, like not raining, i will probably get on the roof and clean out some gutters for mum. They're overflowing when it pours, right near milo's bed on the deck. So it needs to be done. And i'm definitely the man for the job. Lol

Over and out.

I'm Tie-Wed

It's saturday.

I worked this morning at 8.30. It was hard to get up.

I am either having a games night tonight with the Howards, or staying at Stephen's house. I know which one I'd prefer.

I want to sleep.

My eyes are droopy.

I hate uni.

I hate essays.

I hate "due dates".

I'm done.

Back From The Dead

Far out. How long since I last posted? Shite. A year? Maybe a little less. Lol. I feel quite pathetic actually.

ALRIGHT! I'm REALLY going to try to post regularly. I'll turn it into  habit. But I'll keep them short, because I think my friends got so sick of waiting for a new post that they just gave up on visiting my site anymore.

Lol, I don't even know where to start? Do I go allll the way back and talk about my christmas? My 18th? God it all seems so long ago. Umm....screw it. I'll just go from recent times.

Well first off, I'm still with Stephen. It's been a year and almost a month now. He took me to see V for Vendetta at La Premiere, and then to dinner at Balsamic. The movie was awesome. Especially coz you get unlimited free popcorn and soft drink. Talk about heaven!! But yeah, V for Vendetta, seriously, if anyone reads this and hasn't seen it yet, go. I loved it, and have already seen it for the second time. Dinner was really nice as well. Oh, and he also got me seasons 1 & 2 of moonlighting on DVD. Awesome show!! I love Bruce Willis.

Started my creative writing course at Deakin in Burwood. I'm enjoying it so far I guess, but i'm as unmotivated as I was in year 12, so I'm sucking at assignments. Although I do still have to get some back. I've made some friends within my classes, but I never have breaks, so I never really need friends outside of them. And kelly and laura and Christine and other friends from highschool are at deakin, so it's good when I sometimes see them around.

Umm, worked this morning. So tired. Going to steve's tonight for his dad's birthday, then getting dropped hoem at about 9 tomorrow morning, and having a family afternoon get together thing at about 3. Busy weekend. Not that happy about it.

Anyway, jess is caling me to come and play backgammon. We're obsessed with it at the moment, and I'm kicking her ass like 22 games to 7 or something.

The little *bleeper* broke my *bleeping* shoes!!

  • Mood: Angry
  • Listening to: Angry music.... A Perfect Circle - Counting Bodies Like Sheep
  • Wearing: An angry face

I'm seriously pissed off. It's amazing how one little thing can completely ruin your good mood.

I got home, cooked some yummy noodles, got a glass of ice-cold coke, settled in a chair and started reading a new book; completely contented.

I message my boyfriend, have a little laugh at what I wrote to him, ask mum how her day was, and I'm still quite happy.

And then I catch sight of my shoes sitting next to the front door. There's something different about them...something not quite right. I step closer, and pick them up, my eyes widening in horror. Someone, and I know it wan't me, has been wearing them by just stepping on the heels, which have now completely split. Yes they were old, but they've lasted me a bloody long time, and were perfectly fine until today. So i storm into the dining room, and ask marli straight out if she's been using them...and guess what? She admits straight away, but then has the audacity to claim that they were "already like that!"

I nearly exploded. God damn she can be such a shit head. Sure she didn't mean it, but christ, they're not her shoes, the least she could do was wear them properly.

So now I'm in a shitty bummed out angry mood, so I turned up my subby and have been blaring what I call 'angry music' ever since.

Curses!!

Saturday Summations

  • Mood: Tired...as usual lately
  • Listening to: Coldplay - Fix You (Soooooo good!!)
  • Eating: Fish and chips soooon
  • Wearing: Kmart uniform

Well, I'm trying to update more regularly. They're shorter, less detailed, but hopefully still appreciated.

Worked this morning at 8.30am. Fun? Not really. Draining? To the max.

Going to see The Island with steve tomorrow!! I hope it's good...i haven't been out with maggot for a while though, so it'll be good to do that, regardless of how the movie is.

Pretty much bumming tonight...could be spending the evening with boyo, but i'm just a weird idiot, so i had to decline. Fish and chips though...bring on those potato cakes!!

Updated news about Alias...now supposedly returning on thursday the 11th of August, at 9.30pm. Let's see if channel 7 stick to their word, or decide to screw us around some more.

Watched Chris Lilley's show on wednesday night....very funny. It amazes me that he is able to change himself and fit into a character so snugly, it's almost hard to tell it's not him. His portrayal of Ja'mie King, a 16 yr old school girl was awesome, right down to the very slightest of mannerisms. Check it out if you haven't...ABC, wednesday's, 9pm.

Alright, it's hot in the study and marli wants to come online...so i'm done.

Bye butt plugs!!

Friday Fever

  • Mood: Happyyy
  • Listening to: Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek
  • Eating: A pizza...when it's ready though.
  • Wearing: School uniform

Aaand another week over!!

Even after just one week back at school, I'm completely sick of it, and in need of more holidays.

Give them to me NOOOOOOW!!

Working tomorrow morning at 8.30am. Can't wait.

We recently had the OC finale. Very sad...but good riddance to evil trey...even though I liked him, I didn't want ryan to get smashed with a telephone.

If anyone else fell in love with the song that they played at caleb's funeral and then as marissa shot trey, it's called Hide and Seek, by Imogen Heap. I suggest you go and download it immediately. It's awesome!!

Speaking of TV shows, I've gotten sucked into 24. Lol i know i know, I always used to bag people who still watched it. But this new season, far out, it's sooo good. Get watching if you haven't already.

!!AND!!

Alias is apparently coming back this month! I'm so excited - i can not wait a second more. Sure i have to, but I don't want to.

Oh, and R.I.P. Boone (Ian Somerhalder), from Lost. I'll miss you and your gorgeous ice-blue eyes....

Sorry, but really can't be bothered with emoticons.

Lol except for now....bye!!

Crazy Kmart

  • Mood: Very tired
  • Listening to: Everyone's asleep, so nothing
  • Eating: My cold dinner
  • Wearing: My Kmart uniform

Sigh.

Another shift of Kmart over. 6pm till midnight. What a killer.

It was a pretty damn boring shift, but we had all right people on. Me, Claire, and Luci...and Claire was on till midnight as well.

I thought I'd get hyper by the end of the shift, because normally with Claire, I do. But i just got dead. Sure we were throwing a footy around the store, and reading magazines, but it was still quite draining.

Stayed at Stephen's wednesday night. It was good. Finally met James on thursday. Also good.

Now for the rest of today, not sure what I'm going to do. Maybe I'll just sleep the whole day away.

~ The Hunt for the Precious White Bag of Billabong ~

Hello, I'm Cornelia Snodgrass, and welcome to another episode of...well, me.

Today's episode details the very dangerous but highly exciting hunt for the Precious White Bag of Billabong. Yes yes, I know that most people believe it to be a myth. But, my friends, I can happily let you in on a little secret.

*Whispers*

I found it!

That's right, it does exist, and is now in my caring care.

How did I find it you ask? Well settle down and get ready for a tale of gremlins, wild beasts, huge jungles, fairies, and lastly, an enormous labyrinth guared with horrible trolls.

*Takes a deep breath*

Here we go!

It was the morning of the hunt, Wednesday morning in fact, and, being quite silly, I asked several gremlins for information about the whereabouts of the Bag. They gave me riddles, nonsensical clues, and transferred me to other gremlins who in turn, tried to confuse me further. But I, Cornelia Snodgrass, posessing more intelligence than the average genius, was able to decipher these clues and discern the location.

Then, with the Bag in a location I can't disclose, and a location which was very difficult to get to, I called upon my contacts and received a lift from a wild beast of Borneo. This beast took me as far as a huge and dense jungle, but told me that I could ride another wild beast who was waiting for me somewhere in the jungle. I traipsed through, wondering if perhaps the similar surroundings were confusing me and I was walking in circles...but no. I found the second wild beast waiting for me, and off we set.

This wild beast did not speak, and thus I had no idea as to where I needed to jump off. Eventually, using my famed instincts, I leapt off him, and found myself in another jungle. It was not as huge, or dense as the previous, but it was twice as confusing. I navigated as best I could, relying on certain land marks until eventually, I reached the Labyrinth.

It was enormous, and I knew that my instincts, while amazing, would not help me through this task. As I stood, staring in despair at the twists and turns, a fairy appeared. It gave me directions, in a high-pitched speedy voice, and then vanished. Hope surged within me - perhaps I would make it through after all?

I started into the labyrinth, and tried as best I could to remember and follow the directions. It was tough going, but nothing was going to stop Cornelia Snodgrass from reaching what she wanted to reach.

Eventually I reached the centre, and there, guarded by several horrible trolls, was the Precious White Bag of Billabong. It was beautiful, casting an eery light on anything near it. One by one the trolls attacked me, but I fought them off, until bleeding and exhausted, I reached out and picked up the Bag. It contained a phone, a set of keys, and a wallet with $4.40 in it, and I knew that the legends had been true. It was utterly magnificent.

I made my way back in a blur, riding on beasts and travelling through jungles again. Eventually, upon getting home, I met up with Twiggy Mullet-Head, and we celebrated all night at his place.

And that my friends, is the story of my hunt for the Precious White Bag of Billabong. Stay tuned for more upcoming episodes featuring me, me, and of course, me. (And sometimes Twiggy Mullet-Head!)

This is Cornelia Snodgrass, signing off.

Updating Madness!!

  • Mood: Happy!!
  • Listening to: Whatever's on Nova 100
  • Eating: Sadly, nothing
  • Wearing: Pyjamas of course!!

*Wipes hand across forehead*

Phew!

I have finally updated my site. Well, mostly anyway. I've added all my new photos, updated the song page, changed the home page, fixed up my friends page, fixed up my links and profile in here, and now all I have to do is the Glamour Shots page, and I'm thinking about changing the questions in the Vote Caster.

But yeah, that's where I'm up to!

It was good to get back into it actually....

Sitting all day in my pyjamas updating my website = very therapeutic.

Oh, and I'm had some complaints that there is hardly anything about him on this site, so everybody, I have a boyfriend, his name is Stephen, and we've been dating for about 3 months.

Happy Steve?

Yes.

Good, moving on now.....I'm working tomorrow morning, from 8.30 till 12, and then next thursday I'm working from 6pm until midnight! Crazy?? I agree.

And this monday I'll be FINALLY seeing Mr & Mrs Smith with Stephen. I kept saying that as soon as it comes out, I'll be there straight away, but I'm just so lazy that I'm only getting around to it now. Ah well, it'll be good.

That's it for now, I'm off.

Bye!!

Hangin' for the holidays....

  • Mood: Happy
  • Listening to: Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
  • Eating: Chicken...mmmmm
  • Wearing: Boxers and a t-shirt...classy hey ;)

Lol another post that's a bazillion days overdue....

It's thursday night, and our last day of Term 1 ends tomorrow....yay!! I absolutely can not wait for the holidays...i'm so sick of school at the moment it's just not funny. Plus I have heaps of things to catch up on, especially Theatre -- eek!!

Also, hopefully TV will get back to normal next week. I'm hanging out for my normal Desperate Housewives/Medium/Lost fix....hurry up and come back on!! I still have the O.C, but it's just been strangely dissatisfying without the accompanyment of other favourites

Umm, got back from echuca on monday. We had awesome weather up there, and i finally managed to get myself the tiniest bit of a tan...although give it a few more days and i'll be back to pasty again. Echuca was pretty fun...we mainly sat around wondering what to do, but it was still good to see everyone. We had a lot less people there then last year, but shout-outs to friends who were: Brock, Steph, Sammy N, Lochie, Mick, Samantha, Aaron, and Esther. Oh, and our new friend who we stole off the Ferals...Jayden.

We went on a long walk, sped around the murray on a biscuit, sat around in chairs trying to tan (successfully for some of us), mucked around in the pool, had an easter hunt and pigged out, and even tried to start a fight with the Ferals on the last night. The guys wanted me to start something with this one chick, because apparently i'm a tank and i'll kick her ass. I tried to explain that i don't like fighting, but we all went out to find their group anyway, and tried whatever we could (barr actually punching them) to start something. After numerous calls of our favourite phrase, which was "Boo, you whore" from Mean Girls, they asked us if we wanted to start something. On replying "Yes!" however, they just kept walking. So we were ready and waiting, but they were obviously too scared

Got an awesome easter present on Tuesday, and I send out a HUGE thankyou to the wonderful person who gave it to me

Not much else to report, hopefully with holidays i'll post a bit more.

!!BYE!!

Wednesday Weirdness!!

  • Mood: Happy
  • Listening to: Stereophonics - Dakota
  • Eating: I was eating a milo bar before...yummm
  • Wearing: Boxers and a t-shirt!!

Aaand another big timespace between my last post and this one...."sigh"...i just can't seem to do regular ones.

Well here we go for this one....

Obviously i had jess's party a while ago, which was awesome! Nando's was absolutely, insanely yummy, and i must make it a regular eating stop. Although I'll have to make sure i have a big apetite beforehand, because i couldn't quite finish my meal that night. I had the two food-mongers, mariam and xanthe, to polish it off for me though. Thanks guys!

Not sure about watching the John Mayer stuff, but everything else was fun fun fun....and remember guys, what's said at jess's, stays at jess's!! Lol and the piano playing was very well done...although i don't think i got "White Houses" out of my head for a few days

You can check out photos from the party here.

I'm totally loving theatre, it's now my favourite class ever. I used to love english, but that has dwindled in the light of my feelings for theatre. Marshall's awesome, everyone else is awesome, i'm awesome, and the play is gonna be awesome!!

Congratulations to Mariam for scoring the role of Betsheb, Stephen for getting Francis, Sam for getting Peter, Jess for getting Elizabeth, Kerrie for getting William, Jo for getting Stef, Khalista for getting Dr. Simon and Angel, Matt for getting Melorne, Mr Turner and Private Corris, and to myself, for having the wrinkles required to play Ayre, the old gibberish speaking hag.

(Sorry if i forgot any person or character!!)

For theatre pictures and to find out who the hell I'm talking about, click here.

Ever since finishing the 2004 Alias calendar, i never realised how much i relied on it. So i decided a while back that I'd order one for this year, and i kept my ear out for an Alias 2005 one. To my dismay, i discover they aren't making one this year, but yay, Smallville are. So onto the internet i go, to find a site and order it from the states. Ok, cool, it's ordered and shipped, should be here by about the 6th of March.

Now maybe I'm impatient, but it's the 9th, and it's not here yet. I'm getting quite annoyed, and if it's not here by the end of this week, I will be very annoyed. Lol i'll probably email them to find out what's going on, but i'm NOT HAPPY!!

Anyway, can't really be stuffed typing any more. Maybe by keeping my posts shorter, I will update them more regularly? Lol let's find out...

Summer Slackness

  • Mood: Giggly
  • Listening to: Muse- Feeling Good (Medical Investigation theme)
  • Eating: Unfortunately nothing
  • Wearing: Pyjama's of course!!

Lol well it's been quite a while since my last post, coz i'm just the biggest slacker ever. It must be obvious that I have a lot to write about....so here we go:

1) First and foremost, welcome to the world baby Niki!! Congratulations to my aunty and uncle who gave birth to their first child on the 11th of January. I look forward to many occasions in which I baby sit and get vomitted on

2) A belated Happy New Year to every one, hope it's great, hope you stick to your new year resolutions, and I hope yr 12 proves to be not as hard as we all expected

3) I got seasons 2 and 3 of Smallville for christmas, and after marathonning every day I've finally finished, and I'm in love. If ever there was a show that eclipsed my love for Alias, this would be it. Channel 9 did themselves no favours by cancelling this show....I'm in no doubt that if they'd kept running it, it's fan base would have grown and grown until we alll suffered from Smallville fever. If only

4) Kelly came back from her holiday --YAY-- and we all went back 2 school --BOOO--  .....My classes are alright, I love theatre, Maths is good, I.T. is good, lit will be alright but i'm wishing i didn't continue with it, and english is shit

5) Saw the finale of another great show, Nip/Tuck....wow. It was really good....I'm glad I got into this show again. It had good guest stars, including Famke Janssen, who I love after seeing her in Xmen. Nip/Tuck was a seriously weird show, but it was great. Can't wait till next season

6) Finally ...L O S T... has arrived. Last year, after reading about it on the Alias website (because it's created by Alias's creator), i thought i might as well check out the official site. It sounded awesome, and I was just wishing that one day we'd get it here on tv. Probably the next day, or the day after, I was watching tv, and omg, this awesome looking ad for some new show comes on. I sit forward, wondering what the hell this show is, and low and befold, it's Lost, here to make my day. Lol ever since that ad I've been waiting and waiting for good old channel 7 to start it, and this week is gonna be great. Desperate Housewives on monday night, The Amazing Race on tuesday as well as the new season of the O.C., wednesday the finale of Outback Jack, thursday my beloved Lost starts as well as an awesome looking show called Medical Investigation on 10, and then Friday, well nothing on friday but that's cool, lol coz i have aenough tv this week to make my head spin. So bring on the popcorn, icecream and chocolate (and anything else yummy of course), I'm settling in for a long ride!!

7) Lleyton Hewitt and Marat Safin are playing in the Aus Open Final tomorrow night. I'm hoping Hewitt wins because it'd be great if an aussie won....but if I was choosing by who I like more, I would definately want Safin to win...he's a champ!! He'd easily be my favourite male tennis player, so if hewitt wasn't aussie, saffi would have my vote. He's just such a cutie, and that accent...

8 ) I got dean koontz's new book for christmas, life expectancy...it was pretty good...not a favourite, but still very good. So now I own every book he's written from 2000 onwards....which totalls 8. And i think he's releasing another one here very soon...lol can't wait! My favourite is still the first one in 2000...."From The Corner of His Eye"...that just kills everything he has written since then.

9) Woo hoo, I'm getting in to some sport again this year....hopefully we get the softball team up and running, coz that'll be awesome. Even if we suck, it'll be soo much fun. And when winter comes around, hockey and soccer will be all the go. Yet another thing that I can't wait for!

Well that's it for now, but if i think of anything else, it'll be up here straight away...or close enough

Tuesday Tales

  • Mood: Happy

Was quite spontaneous today. Jess and I decided this morning we wanted to go to the movies, so we rang our chauffeur, Susan, and organised it. We (Susan, Christine, Jess and I), all went to Forest Hill, and after about half an hour of hurried christmas shopping, we were outside the movies choosing between Christmas With The Kranks or Bad Santa. We were about to toss a coin because no one could decide, but at the last minute I just said nope, we're seeing Bad Santa. And that was that.

And it was great! Normally I don't like excessive swearing, but that's what made the whole movie funny. It was hilarious! We all loved it...and i reckon we wouldn't have laughed as much if we had seen Christmas With The Kranks. So 'twas a good day out.

There are sooo many other movies that I want to see....let's think....

~ Garden State
~ Hero
~ The Notebook
~ Shark Tale (still!!)
~ Team America: World Police
~ Wicker Park (must must must)
~ Alexander (definitely)
~ Blade: Trinity (another must must must!)
~ Cellular (sounds excellent)
~ The Incredibles
~ Elektra (i'm going on my own if i have to!)
~ Ladder 49
~ A Series of Unfortunate Events
~ Million Dollar Baby (sounds good)
~ The Phantom of the Opera
~ Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
~ Hide and Seek
~ Hitch

And I think i'll leave it at that for the time being!

Bye!

Oh and if anyone watched the BBC's Pride and Prejudice when it was on the abc a while ago, you'll recognise Elizabeth on Channel 7's movie tonight, Paradise Road. Just thought it was interesting. Ciao!

Monday Mania

  • Mood: Happy
Well, quite a few things to talk about here....

1) Last Wednesday Cat, Kelly and I went and saw the movie "Saw". It was pretty good...very clever. It wasn't as gruesome as I thought it would be, and that was great. It was scary I guess, in a suspenseful way....kelly saw about half the movie through her fingers. The only things that were shit were the sometimes cringe-worthy lines that some of the characters said, and also a lot of the acting. Cary Elwes and Danny Glover were the worst, with Cary being a hammy, over-acting, ridiculous, totally unbelievable Doctor who wakes up chained in a bathroom, and Danny just being pretty pathetic as a cop who spirals into an obsessive hunt for the killer. They were both totally laughable, and for a pretty disturbing horror movie that's trying to scare the shit out of you, it's pretty shit that most of the audience was laughing. But oh well, it was still good. lol

2) Oh and a while ago we all went and saw The Forgotten, which I really liked. It had a good storyline, apart from that unexpected twist, and it had some really good "BOO" scares, which even had me jumping. I'm trying to go and see it again with Jess, but so far no luck.

3) Went to a house warming party on Saturday night, and most of the echuca gang was there: Brock, Esther, Jess, Steph, Mick, Lochie...sadly no Sam, Erin, Stacey, or my cousin Sam though. We all hadn't seen each other in ages, so it was good to catch up with who was there. It was pretty fun....lots of laughs. We were going to stay the night, but in the end we decided not to, and on the way home we went to maccas....strawberry sundae....yummmmm

4) Finally, today, results were revealed. I woke up about 7:30, and I heard jess telling Marli what she got, so I congratulated her and headed to the study to try and get mine. It took ages to log on, but I got there. A+ A+ A+, which gives me a study score of 40. Jess got A+ A+ A, which also gave her 40. I was happy with my mark, but the fact we got the same was a big dampener. How typical...all throughout the year, and now the study score. Big bummer. She was pretty pleased with her enter though, and i'm very proud of her

I think that's pretty much it...except for the fact that I'm workign tonight and sooo not looking forward to it

Congratulations to all my friends in advance for their scores....you all tried your best, and that's all that counts. Grouuup Huggg

I'm off. Bye!!

Friday Freedom Part 2 (Not really, but sort of!)

  • Mood: I'm hot, tired, and i have a headache. But still happy

Hehe I kinda kept that last email hanging didn't i??

Well basically, I rang channel 7, and tru calling disappeared because they hadn't received the rest of the episodes from the States yet. But when they get them, which will probably be next year, it'll most likely come back. Which I'm quite pleased about.

And finally my exams are done!! I'm so glad school is over and I can just bum around at home now. Thank the lord. I've got most of my results, except maths and yr 12 psych of course...

Lit = A
English = A
Health = A+ and one bloody mark away from 100%       grrr

I'm too scared to go and get maths, so I'll just stay happy until i get my report --- eek!

I also had transition, and now I can not wait to start my theatre classes next year. We only have 9 people in our class, and it's gonna be soo much fun! Hardwork, but fun...yaaaay

On a final note, I worked last thursday. 5 hours. Very fun

Friday Freedom

  • Mood: Not sure

Well, it feels good to be able to sit around and finally do nothing for the moment! It’s Friday morning, and I have no school, no exams, nothing. Woo hoo!!

I probably will be studying on the weekend though…I am definitely not looking forward to a 3-hour English exam on Monday.

So, news…umm….lol not much, but some:

1)     I had my first year 11 exam yesterday, for Literature. Not fun, but not as bad as I thought it would be. I was rushing in the last 15 minutes though. And I felt really bad for Rebecca Allen, because she came in free dress (not sure why), and she must’ve gotten told off bad because she was pretty upset. But she sat the exam, so I guess that’s all that matters.

2)     The final EVER of the ‘New’ Practice is on Monday….Nooooo!! I have gotten so into that show, it’s awesome…..and now it’ll be gone forever.

3)     The O.C. is finishing in like 2 weeks, which is a bummer, because even though I’m kinda over it now, I still liked watching it. Lol damn the end of the year, all the good shows finish off.

4)     And finally, I’m just about ready to kill everyone at Channel 7. I’ve been loyal to it, it’s probably the channel that most of the programs I watch are on. And yet it keeps shitting me off sooo badly, far out, there’s something seriously wrong with them. Tru Calling was an absolutely awesome show! It kicked ass and had a great storyline, and even though it was on at like 10.30pm, I still always found time to watch it, because I loved it. But now, for some strange reason, it’s vanished off next weeks TV guide. I’m going to ring up Channel 7 today and enquire about it, because if it’s totally gone, I will not be happy. The finale sounded so gooood! Grrrrrr

And I’m pretty sure that’s all my news….I’ll probably post again today detailing my conversation with Channel 7.

Wish me luck!!

About Time :)

  • Mood: Happy

Well, finally I've gotten around to posting something. Lol, not much to post, but i thought i better.

News:

1) Year 12 exam is over...woo hoo!! It was, not bad i guess, harder than the Mid-Year, but it was ok. I'm glad it's over, but I could have studied a lot more.

2) I've been working a bit (finally), which has been pretty good. Money is always a plus, and we're getting all these new people, which is cool. Some are freaks though, and some seem like those bitchy snobby popular chicks, but most are pretty nice. Oh, and I've developed a nickname....Horse Lady. Thanks Claire. Thanks heaps.

3) My birthday was last week....(Sunday) (The 31st) (Halloween)....and it was pretty good....i got lots of good presents, including the new Evermore Dreams album, which rocks!! And I've decided the winner of The Best Card competition, which is based on looks and what's written inside....Xanthe and Mariam!! Well done guys!! Their card is followed closely by the card from my uncle and aunty, Justin and Poly.

4) Cat and Kelly went to the Melbourne Cup on tuesday, and i've put some of their photos on the site. I didn't win anything by the way. Damn Elvstroem. You just couldn't go a little bit faster, could you?!

5) I watched One Perfect Day last night....anyone seen it? Well it's pretty good and I liked it. Throughout it I was sorta like ok, what's the point of this, but it was good. And sad...

Aaand I think that's pretty much all my news...lol

Oh, donating blood on Wednesay! Yay! Free food!!

Ok, now that's it.

Hopefully it's not that long before i post again

Bye!!

The Wonderful Whiz!!

  • Mood: Relatively happy
Well it's about time I got on here and posted something....

I haven't got my normal computer, so I can't really update anything else on my website, and so I pretty much forgot about this as well.

But I'm here, posting something now, so hopefully everything's cool.

Well last night I attended our school's production of The Whiz, which is a rock n roll take-off of The Wizard of Oz. It was absolutely awesome!! Lol I don't know what I was expecting, but I definitely was not disappointed. I loved most of the music, it was really funny, and I was so glad I went.

I'd like to say a specific congrats to some people I know....

Firstly, Kelly and Cat, you guys were great! Lol i loved the poppy heads, and you totally radiated sex to the max!

Jess, lol you were great too....Mr G would be proud!! But I'm sorry for making you laugh

Adam, you'll never see this, but you were a pisser! Lol I loved your singing...very err...lovely!

Monika, I don't care what you think, but you were really awesome!! Lol the way you acted, I was almost pissing my pants!! And you have a fantastic voice....lol i wasn't really expecting you to, but u did. Highly impressed I was Oh and by the way, I loved your hair!!

And lastly Tim, lol what can I say. The hair, the costume, the dancing...you were great! And after that stint in green spandex-like pants, you have many adoring female fans!

Anyway, there were heaps of other people who were fantastic, but lol I don't really know them.

Great show, great cast, great music, great dancing ....well done guys! You did Donny proud

Tuesday and its Terrific TV

  • Mood: Excited hehe...

Woo hoo!! It's finally Tuesday!!

Well there were no movies to suck me in today, so I came on the comp and added a bit more to this story I'm writing at the moment. Then Jess and I walked to Tunstall to post our cousin Gregor's birthday present...we were freaking out because it's supposed to be going to Scotland, and we didn't know if we'd written the address right!! I hope it gets there ok

Ok...on TV, another episode of The O.C. tonight!!

And then....

   THE ALIAS FINALE!!

   YAAAAAY

Lol well i'm not glad that it's ending, but hopefully it'll be a great episode!! If it's not, I'll just curl up into a ball and cry

I can't wait till it's on!! Bye!

Weekly Weekend Comments

  • Mood: Happy!

Overall this has been a pretty good weekend...yesterday we went shopping and I got two tops and half a jumper (sharing with jess), and today we went and saw Shrek 2!

Apart from the shopping yesterday was pretty boring...I basically bummed in the morning and then after shopping I was just vegging in front of the tv. Sound like fun? Well it was!

This morning before we went to the movies I was on the computer, and I started looking at all these old games and some of them are really good! Lol like Street Fighter 2....talk about addictive! We were supposed to be leaving in half an hour, and I'm like no mum, wait, I just have to beat this guy!!

And Shrek 2? Well for a full report you can check out my review page in my site (http://www.elysium237.bravehost.com/movies.htm), but basically I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say as funny as the first, but it was still good!

Anyway, I'm done...bye!!

First Week of the Holidays!!

  • Mood: Bored, but pretty happy

Well....god....it's been aaaages since my last post. Almost 5 months in fact. I guess leading up to Central I got pretty distracted, and then afterwards was holidays, so I would have been at Echuca nearly the whole time. So that's covered. And then we got back, and exams were coming up, so I was concentrating on school, and, lol, who cares...I had exams, too bad, if u wanted me to post something then you should have kicked me up the ass and forced me to.

Yeah. So there.

Umm, lol to be quick, Central was awesome, check out some pics in my photo section...and hopefully Laura's Central Account will be finished soon, and you can read all about it there. Echuca was pretty good as well...kinda boring, but still good. And then school, and exams, jesus don't go there. Everything was basically cool, but I bombed out in maths. And psychology, christ, I don't think I've ever studied that much in my life. The bad thing was, it wasn't even that much study, and it felt like forever. But I'll get my results in August, so we'll see how I go. Eeek!!

Well the holidays started off pretty good. I went to the rugby with some friends saturday night, and had an awesome time. Lol this guy kept eyeing me and Lara off, and the sad thing was, he looked at us at least 230 times. Yes, we counted.

Sunday I went to Melton for my grandmother's birthday, and that was soooo boring. It was good to see my cousin's again, but hey, there's only so much you can do and say before the excitement dies down.

Monday marked a landmark day, where I began a massive clean of my bedroom. Poor Jess...to get myself pumping, I was playing non-stop dance/techno, which I love, but Jess hates. That went on all through Monday and Tuesday, but amazingly, she barely complained. What a champ! Tuesday we went to Susan and Christine's for a dvd night, and we watched half of minority report, the o.c., alias, and then mean girls. Mean Girls was pretty good...quite funny.

Wednesday Laura and I went to Kelly's, which was good coz we hadn't seen her in aages. We stayed there till about 5.30, and then laura came back to my place to stay. We bummed on the net and then watched a dvd, and went to bed late. Lol thursday morning laura had popcorn for breakfast, which as unhealthy as it was, tasted great!

And then thursday I pretty much bummed, and that was basically the same for today. Just changing and adding a few things to the site, chatting, eating, lol basic bumming behaviour.

At least now I can basically keep up to date with these posts, because I don't really have to worry about exams or fixing up the site as much. So hopefully I'll be adding these like there's no tomorrow!!

Anyway, I better stop, this is getting just a tad too long...bye for now!!
