Monday Mania

  • Mood: Happy
Well, quite a few things to talk about here.... 1) Last Wednesday Cat, Kelly and I went and saw the movie "Saw". It was pretty good...very clever. It wasn't as gruesome as I thought it would be, and that was great. It was scary I guess, in a suspenseful way....kelly saw about half the movie through her fingers. The only things that were shit were the sometimes cringe-worthy lines that some of the characters said, and also a lot of the acting. Cary Elwes and Danny Glover were the worst, with Cary being a hammy, over-acting, ridiculous, totally unbelievable Doctor who wakes up chained in a bathroom, and Danny just being pretty pathetic as a cop who spirals into an obsessive hunt for the killer. They were both totally laughable, and for a pretty disturbing horror movie that's trying to scare the shit out of you, it's pretty shit that most of the audience was laughing. But oh well, it was still good. lol 2) Oh and a while ago we all went and saw The Forgotten, which I really liked. It had a good storyline, apart from that unexpected twist, and it had some really good "BOO" scares, which even had me jumping. I'm trying to go and see it again with Jess, but so far no luck. 3) Went to a house warming party on Saturday night, and most of the echuca gang was there: Brock, Esther, Jess, Steph, Mick, Lochie...sadly no Sam, Erin, Stacey, or my cousin Sam though. We all hadn't seen each other in ages, so it was good to catch up with who was there. It was pretty fun....lots of laughs. We were going to stay the night, but in the end we decided not to, and on the way home we went to maccas....strawberry sundae....yummmmm 4) Finally, today, results were revealed. I woke up about 7:30, and I heard jess telling Marli what she got, so I congratulated her and headed to the study to try and get mine. It took ages to log on, but I got there. A+ A+ A+, which gives me a study score of 40. Jess got A+ A+ A, which also gave her 40. I was happy with my mark, but the fact we got the same was a big dampener. How typical...all throughout the year, and now the study score. Big bummer. She was pretty pleased with her enter though, and i'm very proud of her I think that's pretty much it...except for the fact that I'm workign tonight and sooo not looking forward to it Congratulations to all my friends in advance for their scores....you all tried your best, and that's all that counts. Grouuup Huggg I'm off. Bye!!
